Container Spreader for Efficient Door Direction Rotating

The rotation of container door is a common situation in container terminal operations. Sometimes when the trailer is loading the container, the container door faces the front of the truck, which is not convenient for loading and unloading the cargo in the container. In this way, the container door is required to be turned 180 degrees; the operation volume of the container door of the big terminal is very large, which is one of the additional services of the terminal, so a fast and efficient solution to rotating container door direction is necessary;

The traditional way is to carry out the container adjustment operation through the reach stacker, heavy container fork, and gantry crane. Use a reach stacker or heavy container forklift to lift the container on the trailer, let the trailer make a 180-degree U-turn, and then put the container back into the trailer by the equipment to complete the operation of turning the container.

A big problem with this operation is that there is a hidden safety hazard, and enough space is needed for the truck rotation; the equipment is bulky, and the operator is prone to fatigue for a long time monotonous operation; it consumes a lot of energy and is not efficient;

One of the effective solutions is to rotate the spreader. The spreader and the upper frame are designed together; the advantage is that the rotation function of the spreader is reliable and stable, easy to control, and the eccentric function can be added according to the requirements of the site working conditions.
