The hook head is available in a single hook and a double hook. Generally, the single hook is mostly used for the small and medium weight lifting bridge. Although the double hook is more complicated to manufacture than the single hook, the double hook is well stressed and the hook material can be fully utilized, so it is generally used on the shore bridge with larger lifting weight.

The structural members of the hook beam are required to have sufficient strength and rigidity, and the connection with the spreader of the spreader has both a lock pin type and a plug type. At the same time, in order to facilitate the placement and transportation, the legs and fork grooves are also installed on the hook beam.
